Ian Zimmerman has hosted his own live radio show called “Lawtalk with Ian Zimmerman.” The format of the program (on KYCY Radio, 1550 A.M. in San Francisco), is a panel discussion on various legal issues, hosted and moderated by Ian, with listeners calling in with questions and comments for either Ian and/or for his guest panelists. Guests have included practicing attorneys from various fields, academics, local political figures, scholars (e.g. members of the Hoover Institution), the president of the California Consumer Attorneys Association, the president of legal publisher Nolo Press, Presiding Judge of the California First District Court of Appeals, and even a controversial New York attorney who has represented middle eastern terrorists as well as the political wing of “Hamas”. Callers to the show frequently sought Mr. Zimmerman’s opinions concerning their personal injury cases. Ian has testified before the State Senate on issues related to changes in law in California.
